Blues complete Ellison deal

Chester City have completed the signing of their former winger Kevin Ellison.

The Blues agreed a 'substantial but undisclosed' fee with Tranmere Rovers for a player who made 30 appearances during half a season at the Deva Stadium two years ago.

"I don't like playing with full-backs in the wide areas, I prefer out and out wingers who can bring chances, crosses and can score a goal as well," manager Bobby Williamson told the club's official website.

"Kevin has done that in the past and hopefully he can get that break in front of goal."

Ellison has signed a three-year contract with the League Two club.
