Powell added to back-room team
Chester have appointed Gary Powell as the club's new 1st team coach. Gary, a former Everton & Wigan Athletic player, joins Chester from Rhyl FC, where he was Assistant Manager.Powell started his career at Everton, and enjoyed a successful spell at Wigan Athletic. He also has experience of a Championship winning squad at TNS, and in his third spell at Rhyl scored the Lilywhites' first ever goal in the Champions League during the 2004 campaign.Blues Manager Neil Young said "Gary is a great lad who I have worked with before, and will be a great acquisition to our management team, and ultimately our club".
