New Manager - Chesham United

Monday Nov 07 2005 00:00

Former Maidenhead United and Windsor & Eton manager, Dennis Greene, has been appointed boss of Southern League Premier Division club Chesham United.

Joining him at the helm will be the vastly experienced former Wycombe, Lincoln, Reading and Colchester striker Keith Scott as coach.

Greene (pictured) was previously manager of Windsor where he signed Scott as a player before moving on to fulfill his ambition of taking a club forward.

After discovering the Maidenhead job was not what it had been built up to be, Greene left and signed as a player for Badshot Lea in the GLS Football Hellenic League to keep in with the dressing room ‘buzz’ whilst waiting for the right job to come along.

Badshot Lea secretary Mark Broad commented: "We always knew it was going to be a short term situation with Dennis and as soon as the right management job came along he would go. We will keep in contact and we wish him well for the future."
