Yates wants fans to be 12th man

The Robins were beaten at Whaddon Road for the third straight time when Shaun Harrad riffled home a 25-yard shot after seven minutes to give Burton a 1-0 win. Morecambe are the visitors in 10 days' time and Yates said: "There is a thing about playing at home with the boys at the moment. We really need a lift because there is a lack of confidence in front of our own fans. "For the next home game against Morecambe, we need that lift from the supporters. We are a different team at home. That possessiveness is not there and that willingness to put our bodies on the line is also missing." Yates added: "There were some positives in the second half when I thought we were the better team. "But you cannot give goals away. We didn't deal with the ball to the edge of the box and the lad has hit a 25-yard volley to the top corner."
