Wylde blow troubles Robins

Cheltenham Town will be without Michael Wylde for up to three weeks after the defender suffered a hamstring injury.

The Robins centre-back picked up the problem during a reserve team clash against Swindon Town on Tuesday and his absence will add to manager Keith Downing's increasing problems.

"Losing Michael Wylde is a blow because we have Michael Townsend missing and we are a bit thin on the ground in terms of the centre-half position," he told the Gloucestershire Echo.

"It's disappointing because Michael had a run-out against Brighton a couple of weeks back and he is close to the first team."
