Westwood stays with Robins

Cheltenham Town have extended the loan spell of Peterborough United's Chris Westwood.

Westwood has been on-loan with the Robins since the beginning of January and the club have moved to extend his stay for another month.

The central defender has scored two goals in three appearances for Martin Allen's side and has impressed in each of his outings.

"Chris has been terrific for us," Allen told the club's official website.

"He's a great lad who has trained really hard and scored a couple of good goals. He fitted in straightaway with the other players and has been really good around the place."

Westwood is now available for Peterborough's next seven games until the loan expires on 3 March.
