Triple boost for Robins
01 Dec 2006 - 16:29:48
Cheltenham Town have received a triple injury boost headlined by the news that broken leg victim Steven Gillespie is ready to resume full training.
The Robins striker suffered the injury back in August but now looks set to feature in the busy festive programme after stepping up his training.
"He's undergone a preventative course of treatment to avoid other injuries and hopefully he will benefit from that for the rest of the season," Town physio Ian Weston told the Gloucestershire Echo.
Meanwhile, Mickey Bell will also resume full training as he looks to bounce back from an Achilles injury that has sidelined the veteran defender since October.
Finally defender Jamie Victory played 60 minutes of a reserve team game in midweek and is back in contention following a pelvic injury.
