Town eye Sinclair extension
31 Oct 2007 - 12:09:16
Cheltenham Town are keen to extend the loan stay of midfielder Dean Sinclair beyond its initial month.
The 22-year-old has impressed since moving to Whaddon Road from Charlton Athletic, having only joined the Addicks in the summer for £125,000 from Barnet.
Robins caretaker boss Keith Downing told the Gloucestershire Echo: "Dean has two more games, so at the back end of this week we will discuss how he feels and speak to Charlton about extending the loan deal.
"We want him to stay on and we will be happy to continue it, so it's up to Charlton, who hold his contract, and Dean himself."
Meanwhile, Town skipper John Finnigan faces more time on the sidelines, after suffering a foot injury in training.
The 31-year-old midfielder has also been struggling with a knee injury in recent times.
