Sinclair extends Robins stay

Cheltenham Town manager Keith Downing has opted to extend Dean Sinclair's stay at Whaddon Road into a second month.

The 22-year-old moved from Barnet to Charlton Athletic in the summer for £125,000 but, after making only two appearances for the Addicks, joined Town at the start of October on an emergency one-month loan deal.

He made his debut in last month's 1-1 draw against Oldham Athletic and has gone on to make six more appearances for the Robins.

Although Sinclair will be allowed to play for Cheltenham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, Charlton have refused to give him permission to play in this weekend's FA Cup first round encounter with Brighton.
