Cheltenham Town have landed Preston North End striker Andy Smith on a month's loan.
The 26-year-old Northern Ireland international has struggled to make his mark at Deepdale due to a serious knee injury, but is now back to full fitness and in need of match practice.
Smith joined the Lilywhites in the summer of 2004 and has subsequently been loaned out to Stockport County and Motherwell.
Robins boss John Ward told the club's official website: "Andy is a Championship level player, which is what I have been looking for.
"He's also got a number of Northern Ireland caps which prove his pedigree.
"Preston have been doing extremely well in the Championship, so it has been difficult for him to get a place in their team."
