Cheltenham Town boss Martin Allen has completed the signing of two new strikers.
Barry Hayles and Julian Alsop have both agreed to join the Robins who suffered relegation from League One last term.
Allen said of his double swoop: "I'm sure Barry will be good for our team as he'll bring confidence and competition for places.
"Last season he scored some vital goals and his presence in the dressing-room was significant. We need characters and personalities within the group and Barry will give us that.
"I'm aware of his age but, if we can manage him properly off the field, I'm sure he can help us to win some games.
"Julian Alsop has agreed non-contract terms with us and we'll continue to monitor the situation. He's a strong-minded character and has a wicked personality.
"He's shown great courage and determination to lose weight and get fitter.
"He has an intense desire to be Cheltenham Town's leading Football League goalscorer having done well for the club before and let's hope he can do it."
