Robins seal Richards signing

Cheltenham Town have signed striker Justin Richards on a one-year contact after he was released by Kidderminster Harriers.

The 28-year-old has played league football for West Brom, Bristol Rovers, Colchester and Peterborough and Robins boss Martin Allen is confident that Richards can step back up a level.

He told the club's official website: "Justin scored 21 goals last season and when I watched him play towards the end of last season, he showed great hunger and willingness and good pace and energy.

"Justin has had opportunities at Football League level, so I am hoping it is going to be third time lucky and that he will make the most of this chance."
