Robins seal deals for three players
Bristol Rovers right-back Lescott and Colchester winger Elito will now remain at the Abbey Business Stadium until the final match of the campaign on May 8, although the latter can be recalled at 24 hours notice. Meanwhile, Brown joins until the end of the season having been training with the club for the past couple of months in a bid to regain his fitness following the injury which hampered his Cheltenham career, eventually leaving in January 2009. The 24-year-old joined Town on loan in 2006 but soon broke his leg in what was his first match as a contract player. A lengthy rehabilitation period followed before an eventual switch to Port Vale, where he was released last summer before undergoing another operation to finally get his career back on track. Elsewhere, former Robins boss Jim Barron has filled the boots of Tim Flowers and is helping to train the club's goalkeepers, who have been without a full-time coach since Barry Richardson departed back in January.
