Striker Kayode Odejayi will stay with Cheltenham Town next season after triggering a clause in his contract entitling him to a 12-month extension.
The 23-year-old signed a one-year deal last summer that included the incentive of an additional season at Whaddon Road if he made 28 first-team appearances this season - a mark he reached in the FA Cup second round replay against Oxford.
Robins boss John Ward said: "We're delighted he's reached the required number of games and I'm pleased we've got him here for another year.
"He's been playing well this season - even when he hasn't been scoring - and his all-round contribution has been much better.
"It's important what contribution a striker makes when he isn't scoring and Kay's been very effective as a front player for us in that sense."
Odejayi is Cheltenham's top scorer this season having found the target seven times.
