New deal for Duff

Cheltenham Town defender Shane Duff has agreed a new two-and-a-half year contract at Whaddon Road.

Duff, 24, progressed through the ranks at the Gloucestershire club and has made 23 appearances this season.

"At the end of this contract I will be 27 and hopefully my best years will still be ahead of me," he told the Gloucestershire Echo.

"For a centre-half, they say you reach your best years at 28 or 29, so I still have a lot of learning to do and I can still improve.

"That is good for me and the club."
