Veteran former Fulham and Leicester City striker Barry Hayles is being linked with a return to Cheltenham Town. Robins chairman Paul Baker has confirmed that talks have been held with the 37-year-old forward who spent three months on loan with Town last season, scoring four goals in 13 appearances for Martin Allen's team. Baker told the club's official website: "Barry met with Martin Allen and myself but confirmed he's been training with another club and has a number of clubs interested in signing him. "It was a good meeting and we hope to make a further announcement in the next few days."
