Cheltenham Town trialist Sean Evans is hoping to be offered a contract at Whaddon Road, as he faces up to the end of his fledgling Manchester United career.
The 20-year-old winger has failed to break into the first-team picture at Old Trafford and will be a free agent in the summer.
He has spent the last week with the Robins and scored in the midweek County Cup clash with Bishops Cleeve.
Evans told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I have really enjoyed this week and the camaraderie in the squad is superb, so this would be an ideal starting point for my career.
"It's up to the manager, but if he thinks I am good enough I would be very keen to come to an agreement."
