Eastham could make Brewers clash

Published: 08 Feb 2010 - 17:52:24

The on-loan defender missed Saturday's goalless draw at Bournemouth due to a family bereavement and manager Mark Yates will give the 18-year-old as much time as necessary before making his return at Whaddon Road. Midfielder Matt Thornhill also missed the clash at Dean Court having sustained a slight hamstring problem in training and although he will miss out against Albion, he is hoping to return for Saturday's trip to Barnet. Julian Alsop (Achilles) should be okay to face the Brewers, though, while Lee Ridley (calf) and Marley Watkins (ankle) will also hope to make Yates' matchday 18 following their recent comebacks. David Bird can again expect to start at right-back having been given the nod against the Cherries following David Pipe's departure.
