Duruz earns Robins chance

Cheltenham Town boss Keith Downing has handed a trial to the Swiss midfielder Gregory Duruz, as he continues to look at ways of strengthening his squad before the start of the new League One season.
The 31-year-old, who has played for Sion, Basel and Thun in his homeland, still has a chance of earning a Robins contract, unlike fellow trialists Michael Husbands, James McPike and Michael Barnes, who have all been released.
"Gregory Duruz has been recommended to us and we're going to have a look at him this week," Downing told Town's official website.
"He played in the Champions League earlier in his career, but was injured last season and is currently a free agent.
"He's done quite well in training and looks a neat and tidy player, as you'd expect. He plays on the left-hand side, which is an area I'm looking at, so it doesn't do any harm to have a look."
