Cheltenham Town have handed defender Shane Duff a new one-year contract. Duff, 27, was restricted to just 23 appearances last season due to injury, but manager Martin Allen was keen to retain the centre-back for their League Two campaign next season. "I'm delighted," Allen told the club's official website. "Shane was superb towards the end of last season and is an important member of the team." Duff has made over 200 appearances for the Robins since arriving at Whaddon Road in December 2002.
