Cox secures Robins loan

Cheltenham Town have signed Tottenham Hotspur youngster Sam Cox on an initial month's loan.

The versatile 18-year-old made his Robins bow in the JPT Trophy loss to Torquay United, with boss Martin Allen upset by a 3-1 home reverse.

He told the Gloucester Citizen: "We have six players out injured so we needed another body and we are not paying any money for Sam, so I am happy to give him an opportunity.

"Players have to come here and do it and they are not here on a holiday and they can't float around the pitch like certain players did last night."
