Leyton Orient have allowed striker Paul Connor to leave the club to join fellow League One strugglers Cheltenham Town.
The 28-year-old is set to complete a £20,000 switch to Whaddon Road in time to feature for the Robins against Scunthorpe United on Tuesday evening.
O's manager Martin Ling told the club's official website: "Paul played a significant role in our promotion and we will always be grateful to him for that.
"But it hasn't quite happened for him this year and I felt we needed to shuffle the pack in terms of our forwards during the transfer window."
Connor joined Orient just under a year ago for £40,000 from Swansea City and scored seven goals in 39 appearances for the O's, including one in the 2-2 draw at Brentford at the weekend.
