Allen vows to bounce back

Cheltenham Town boss Martin Allen has no doubts that his side will be good enough to challenge for an immediate return to League One next term. The Robins' fate was finally sealed when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Carlisle United, but Allen has been pleased with his side's form in the last few weeks. He said: "I'm confident and excited and I just wish the season wasn't finishing. With three or four more players that will join in the summer we're going to have a decent little team. "There's some players here that I want to get tied up and that's the most important challenge in my mind at the moment. "I'm hurt by relegation but I've seen the development and personalities and characters grow. They've stepped out of the shadows. Players have grown in stature and belief and I'm very proud of them." Cheltenham have lost just one of their last ten games.
