Cheltenham Town manager Martin Allen insists that the Whaddon Road side are still nowhere near the one he is trying to mould.
Allen has brought in a host of new faces since taking charge of the Robins in September, but his much-changed side still prop up the League One table and are all but certain to be relegated.
He told the Gloucester Citizen: "I wouldn't say it was my team because I have not been able to make my mark on this yet.
"It's been very frustrating, not being able to do what I have wanted to do.
"The players have given maximum effort and I can't knock them, but I haven't been able to get it together yet and it won't happen until the summer.
"It's going to be the drop-outs who don't have other clubs and that's the reality. I'd love to go out and get players who I want and sign them up, but it's not going to happen."
