Yates wanted six

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates felt his side could have had six as they put in a classy performance to secure a 2-0 win at Macclesfield. The home side did have their chances in the first 45 minutes but it was the visiting Robins who showed them how to finish through goals from Josh Low and Brian Smikle. Yates said: "I can't say I'm disappointed that we didn't get more goals because I'm happy with a 2-0 win, but in truth we could have had five or six and we could have spent the last 20 minutes just passing the ball about. "But that very rarely happens in football. Macclesfield are a tough side and they've been on a magnificent run with four games unbeaten so I'm just delighted at the performance. "I would have liked to have been saying now that we got six points from our last two games because we should have beaten Morecambe but at least we put that right."
