Yates set to keep faith

Mark Yates hopes to name an unchanged Cheltenham XI for the visit of promotion-chasing Shrewsbury. The Robins boss does have a couple of players, including defender Steve Elliott (Achilles), carrying knocks from Monday's 2-0 victory at Lincoln - Town`s first win in seven - but they should be okay to feature at Whaddon Road. The only other concern could be leading scorer Wes Thomas, who may have to withdraw from Yates' plans with his pregnant partner due to give birth. Yates told the club`s official website: "There is every chance of us playing the same team as Monday but we do have one or two bumps and bruises, as well as Wes Thomas' girlfriend being due any day now so we do have one or two contingency plans. "You never want to change a winning team and especially when you haven't been winning many games of late so if everybody is fit then it will be somewhere near that." Striker Jeff Goulding and right-back Keith Lowe continue to be sidelined with their respective ankle injuries.
