Yates pleased with Robins' attitude

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates praised his players after results elsewhere ensured their Football League status despite the Robins going down 1-0 to Shrewsbury. Mark Wright scored the only goal of the game for the promotion-chasing outfit with 10 minutes on the clock. "All you want to see is effort and commitment to the cause and I think the players showed that," said Yates. "We gave away a poor goal - he finished it well but it wasn't good the way he got there. "We have then given them something to hang on to and they are a good side. "It was a bad time to concede but we kept going and I was relatively pleased with the attitude the players showed."
