Yates: No problems with Richards

Cheltenham manager Mark Yates bears no grudge against Justin Richards as the former Town striker prepares to return to Whaddon Road with high-flying Port Vale. Richards found the net 15 times for the Robins last term to almost single-handedly save the club from relegation, but he rejected a new contract over the summer in order to look for pastures new and a switch to Vale Park. He has managed five goals to date in all competitions for the Valiants this term, albeit none in his last eight appearances, and will likely lead the line alongside Marc Richards this weekend Town boss Yates told Cheltenham`s official website: "Justin Richards is a good player and he played a big part in our league survival last season but I have no problem with his decision to move on to Port Vale. "He will be keen to come here on Saturday and hit back at his critics but we`re at home and we`ll do what we think is right to do against a strong Port Vale side."
