Yates mulling over fresh faces

Cheltenham manager Mark Yates is weighing up whether to make changes for the trip to Port Vale. Yates was left frustrated by several aspects of his side`s 2-1 home defeat to Accrington last weekend and has the option to turn to the likes of David Bird, Josh Low, Frankie Artus, Sean Jeffers and Phil Walsh to mix things up. He said: "I can`t knock the players for their work-rate but there were a number of bad decisions and perhaps it`s time to shake it up a little because I do have options on the bench. If I think I need to freshen things up then I will do that." Defender Martin Riley (hamstring) remains unavailable but could return to feature in training next week, while fellow centre-back Andy Gallinagh continues to manage his groin injury and is taking part in a couple of sessions per week with a view to being part of the squad.
