James O'Brien's goal gave the hosts the half-time lead in Saturday's League Two clash at Valley Parade but Town seized the initiative after the break and were awarded a penalty after 53 minutes when defender Steve Williams fouled Justin Richards.[LNB]Williams was sent off for a second bookable offence before Richards equalised from the spot.[LNB]Former Cheltenham player Yates, who took over as manager just over a week ago and saw his side win at Dagenham in his first match in charge, said: "Bradford is a really tough place to come and we were depleted with a couple of players out of action, but our players were very good. The commitment was there.[LNB]"The pitch was not conducive to good football, but we tried and started the game really well. We gave away a soft goal, but we showed great character in the second half.[LNB]"The mistake we made for the Bradford goal could have cost us, but we showed great spirit to come back and share the points. It's difficult against a decent team supported by a big crowd."[LNB][LNB]
