Yates disappointed by draw

Manager Mark Yates believes Cheltenham have goals flowing through their side but could not hide his disappointment at failing to add to the one they got in Saturday`s 1-1 draw at Hereford. Jeff Goulding`s 65th-minute strike cancelled out Mathieu Manset`s opener in first-half stoppage time, yet the Robins boss was downbeat his charges could not find the net again to come away from Edgar Street with all three points. "It was pleasing that our striker (Goulding) got a goal but it was just a shame that we didn't get another," he said. "Hereford are a decent side. I said that before the game but I thought we were the better side." He added: "We`ve got goals throughout the team, Junior (Brian Smikle) can score goals and Birdy (David Bird) should have had two."
