Yates almost at full strength

Skipper Michael Pook is Mark Yates` only absentee as Cheltenham make the short trip to Hereford. The midfielder has been sidelined with a calf injury since mid-October`s 3-1 defeat at Bradford and although it is hoped he returns to training ahead of Saturday`s encounter, he is not expected to be match-ready for another 10 days or so. Otherwise, Yates has a full-strength squad at his disposal and could well name an unchanged XI for the fourth successive match after seeing his side triumph over Accrington and Morecambe, while also leading 1-0 against Southend and playing well before the game was abandoned. Striker Wes Thomas has another week under his belt after making his return from a thigh injury as an unused substitute during last weekend`s 1-0 FA Cup triumph over the Shrimps. He could well get some game-time at Edgar Street this time out as the Robins look to build on their early-season success against their struggling neighbours, who are yet to win at home in the league this term but has been revitalised under caretaker manager Jamie Pitman.
