Trialists impress in Robins run-out

A total of three trialists were on show at the club's training ground including former Robins loanee Aaron Brown, Gerti Gavazaj and Gorkem Owen.[LNB]It was the latter who opened the scoring from close range after 11 minutes and, after Jake Lee had added a second, Albanian trialist Gavazaj made it 3-0.[LNB]The impressive Marley Watkins crossed for Lee to make it four before the break while former Robins midfielder Scott Brown, who is training with the club to help regain his fitness after injury, rifled home the goal of the game and substitute Josh Egan fired low into the net after the break to complete the scoring.[LNB]Cheltenham boss Mark Yates had previously run the rule over seven other trialists, including another former loanee Kristian O'Leary, in the 6-0 defeat to Birmingham at the start of the month. But none of those seven were involved this time around, suggesting they had failed to impress.[LNB]Elsewhere, the League Two club have also announced a two-year contract extension with main club and shirt sponsor Mira Showers, taking the partnership until 2012.[LNB][LNB]
