Shroot flies Robins nest ahead of Shrimpers clash

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates will be without the services of Robin Shroot when his side travel to Roots Hall to take on Southend. The midfielder's loan spell at Whaddon Road ended miserably as an unused substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Wycombe and he has returned to parent club Birmingham after no agreement was reached to keep him. Fellow loanee Shaun Jeffers has extended his loan from Coventry by a further month and he will be pushing for a start following another substitute appearance on Saturday, although Yates is unlikely to tinker with his side too much after what he described an "excellent" New Year`s Day performance despite the defeat. The only injury concern within the camp is again winger Josh Low, who continues to struggle from a hamstring problem that has kept him on the sidelines for the past month.
