The Robins twice went ahead through two goals from Barry Hayles at Whaddon Road, but with the Cobblers appearing to head for a fourth straight defeat, Adebayo Akinfenwa was on hand with a brace of his own to take his goal tally for Northampton to an impressive 30 in 60 starts.[LNB]Schofield said: "We need to try and cut out the mistakes because they add up over the season.[LNB]"But there was a marked improvement in the performance from Tuesday night (a 3-0 defeat to Torquay), which is what we asked for.[LNB]"We played some good football, created some good chances and with a little more clinical finishing had the potential to get three points.[LNB]"Ultimately we paid for some defensive mistakes, but that's the way it's going for us at the moment."[LNB][LNB]
