After Jamie Clarke had cancelled out Justin richards' early opener for Cheltenham, Brown was dismissed for a 69th-minute challenge on Town midfielder Theo Lewis, which sparked a mass confrontation between the two sets of players on the pitch.[LNB]Then as Brown made his way off scuffles broke out as the two benches confronted each other and after a seven-minute delay referee Graham Salisbury showed further red cards to Lincoln substitute Ian Pearce and Cheltenham sub Barry Richardson, neither of whom actually got onto the pitch during the game.[LNB]Former Imps player and manager Schofield said: "The incident happened 50 yards away from where we were. How could my bench influence the ref from there? I can't even influence my own players when they're that far away on the pitch.[LNB]"I thought it was a straight red card following the foul by Aaron Brown. The referee made the right decision as far as I'm concerned."[LNB][LNB]
