Robins boss will let five leave
With the Robins on the brink of relegation to League Two, Shane Duff, Alan Wright, Josh Low, John Finnigan and Paul Connor have all been told they can leave the club as Allen looks set to give the club's youngsters a chance to shine until the end of the season.
"We have decided to make five senior players available for immediate loan," Allen told the club's official website.
"This will enable us to cut costs from the weekly wage bill and give us the opportunity to further develop and give experience to some of our young players for the future."
Any interested clubs have until 5pm on Thursday to make a move for the quintet before the emergency loan deadline passes.
