New Cheltenham captain Michael Pook is determined to lead Mark Yates` young side by example this season. The former Swindon midfielder has been named as the Robins' new club skipper after Shane Duff joined npower League Two rivals Bradford. "I have captained teams at youth and reserve level, but this is totally different and it's a bit more of an important role when it comes around in the first team," Pook told the Gloucestershire Echo. "It's something to stand up to and hopefully I can lead by example. "I am only 24 and I am starting to feel quite old myself in this squad. It's very young, but that's what the manager wanted, an athletic group who are hungry to do well."
