Pook boost for Robins

Cheltenham captain Michael Pook is back in contention for the visit of Morecambe, leaving manager Mark Yates with a fully-fit squad. Pook has trained all week having recovered from the calf injury he sustained at Bradford in mid-October and while he is unlikely to start against the Shrimps, the midfielder is expected to make the bench. Key striker Wes Thomas is now back to 100% fitness having enjoyed two cameo roles since his return from a thigh injury, meaning he will be hoping to start. Town`s leading scorer this term with eight goals, Thomas found the net to settle the FA Cup meeting between Cheltenham and Morecambe just two weeks ago. Marley Watkins is the only player in the treatment room as he recovers from an ankle injury, but the midfielder is still technically on loan at Bath City and only back at Whaddon Road receiving treatment before he returns to the Blue Square Premier outfit.
