Low sends Robins sky-high

Josh Low returned to haunt his former club as he grabbed a late winner for Cheltenham in a 3-2 victory over Northampton.

Daryl Duffy won an 11th-minute penalty when he was fouled by Kelvin Langmead, sending Sam Walker the wrong way from the resulting spot-kick to put the Robins ahead.

Cheltenham were well on top and Jeff Goulding missed a great chance to double their advantage, heading wide from Kaid Mohamed's cross.

Cobblers got back into the game in the 38th minute when Adebayo Akinfenwa headed down a cross from Michael Jacobs for Aaron Davies to convert from close range.

Akinfenwa headed Northampton in front 10 minutes after the restart from a pinpoint cross from the impressive Lewis Young.

But Duffy equalised in the 68th minute, Low coming off the bench to pick out the striker with an excellent cross.

And Low won it for Cheltenham in the 79th minute, a quick break and cross down the left by substitute Brian Smikle saw Duffy lay the ball off for Low to apply a cool finish.
