Lowe blow for Robins

Cheltenham will be without Keith Lowe for the trip to Crewe after the right-back was ruled out for a few weeks. Lowe was forced off in the 21st minute of last weekend`s 2-1 home defeat to Gillingham nursing a heavy ankle knock which has subsequently sidelined him for the short term. Versatile midfielder David Bird came on in his place to slot into a familiar position at the back and he is again likely to occupy the full-back slot at Gresty Road, unless manager Mark Yates opts to turn to centre-back Andy Gallinagh. Otherwise, Yates has a fully-fit squad to select from as the Robins look to overturn a sorry sequence of just two wins in 14 to finish the season on a high. Town were level on points with the play-off places before their dip in form but now stand 13 points adrift, still needing another win to be all but mathematically safe from relegation.
