Keeper Brown bounces back

Cheltenham goalkeeper Scott Brown insists he was not short of confidence heading into Saturday`s 1-1 draw against Rotherham on the back of the nightmare 8-1 hammering at Crewe. Brown put in a match-of-the-match performance against the Millers as Mark Yates` side regained some lost pride following their disastrous performance at Gresty Road. Brown was forced to pick the ball out of his net more times than he cares to remember that day, while in fact only bottom club Stockport have conceded more than the Robins` 72 this season. But the 25-year-old has not lost any faith in himself. He told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I am always confident and believe in myself because I know what I can do. I wasn't lacking in confidence before Saturday's game, but it's always nice to make a few saves. "It was a much-needed point after the shambles at Crewe, which was sickening, and I thought we showed good strength of character after a nervous start."
