Green's first-half strike at Whaddon Road moved Hereford further from the League Two relegation zone, while extending Cheltenham's poor run to one win in 11 matches, though John Trewick's team had to dig deep as James McQuilkin became their third player to see red in two games shortly before the interval.[LNB]Hereford produced some fluent football in the opening quarter, with tall striker Leon Constantine a prominent threat and they were rewarded after 24 minutes when Green played a neat one-two with Kenny Lunt before calmly side-footing into the corner.[LNB]The Robins spurned two good chances to get on level terms before the interval as Barry Hayles shot narrowly wide from close range and Adam Bartlett made a flying fingertip save to deny Michael Pook.[LNB]McQuilkin's dismissal, for two bookable offences, triggered a second-half onslaught from the home side, against opponents who were intent on protecting their lead.[LNB]Bartlett blocked a point-blank header from Julian Alsop, before producing another acrobatic effort to again deny Pook but Hereford held firm.[LNB][LNB]
