Grecians seal deal for midfielder
Russell, 35, has initially joined the Grecians on loan until the end of the season when he will then complete a permanent switch.[LNB]Allen told the club's official website: "It's not my choice to see him go but financially it's the best thing for the football club, although it's not the best decision for the team.[LNB]"I put seven or eight players on the transfer list a while ago but not because I thought they were bad players, the finances are the most important thing at this football club at the moment."[LNB]Elsewhere, chief scout and goalkeeping coach Alan Fettis has also left the club "as a cost-cutting measure" while John Brough has reverted back to his previous role of youth-team manager.[LNB][LNB]
