Gallinagh doubt for Shrews clash

The midfielder was on the end of a stray elbow shortly after the half-hour mark of Saturday's crushing 4-1 defeat at Aldershot and had to be replaced by Michael Pook, who had himself made a speedy return from injury. Pook had only managed a minimum amount of training before the trip to Aldershot but could be thrown back in from the off when last season's play-off finalists Shrews come to town. Manager Martin Allen, who was fuming with the manner of Saturday's loss, has been handed some extra funds to bring in one or two loan signings but it is unlikely new faces will be on board in time for Tuesday. Midfielder Frankie Artus is now back with Bristol City after his loan spell expired having missed Saturday's defeat with an ankle injury. Strikers Justin Richards (knee) and Barry Hayles (ankle) and right-back Kyle Haynes (dead leg) recovered in time to face the Shots and all three should be in the reckoning again this time around. However, captain Shane Duff (calf) and on-loan midfielder Oliver Bozanic (knee) remain on the sidelines.
