Cheltenham boss Martin Allen revealed skipper John Finnigan apologised to his team-mates following his dismissal in the 3-1 defeat at in-form Colchester.[LNB]The midfielder was sent off after picking up two bookings in the space of four minutes at the Weston Homes Community Stadium just moments after coming on as a second-half substitute for Lewis Montrose.[LNB]The relegation-haunted Robins went on to lose 3-1, with Dean Hammond, Mark Yeates and Steven Gillespie - against his former club - scoring the U's goals after Chris Westwood's header had given Cheltenham the lead.[LNB]He said: "I felt that we could hold on. Lewis Montrose was on a yellow card and we took him off and what happened in the next five minutes were moments of madness.[LNB]"The club captain being sent off was very disappointing - they were two mis-timed tackles. He was very apologetic and he apologised in the dressing room to everyone - he is very disappointed."[LNB][LNB]
