Finnigan set to leave Robins' nest
The 33-year-old has spent the last seven years at Whaddon Road since joining from Lincoln, making 252 appearances and scoring 27 goals and helping the Robins twice clinch promotion to League One.
He told the club's official website: "I've had a good seven years here and really enjoyed it but the time has come to move on.
"The team is changing and the manager [Martin Allen] is putting his own stamp on things."
