Finnigan: Robins can beat the drop

Martin Allen's men looked to be certainties for the drop a fortnight ago, but seven points from their last three games has given them an outside chance of pulling off a great escape.

And captain Finnigan, who scored in their 2-1 win over Crewe last weekend, is targeting a dramatic end to the season.

"We never give up and we always keep going until the end," he told the Carlisle News and Star.

"We have given ourselves a chance and who knows, we could still have an exciting final week to the season.

"Last Saturday was a good day and hopefully we can have a few more of them between now and May."
