Robins boss Martin Allen has decided not to offer Connor a new contract at the club just yet, but has told the 30-year-old that the door could still be open for a deal later in the summer.[LNB]"I've been left in a tricky predicament," Connor told the Citizen.[LNB]"If I was released I wouldn't bat an eyelid because it was not going well. It was a surprise to be told the door wasn't shut, but maybe the last few games of the season convinced the manager I can do a job.[LNB]"As a player you either like to be offered a contract or released. It's hard being in the middle, so it's swinging towards me leaving."[LNB][LNB]
