Mohamed back for Robins

Cheltenham's preparations for their FA Cup second round derby with Hereford on Monday night have been given an injury boost with the news that winger Kaid Mohamed is available again.

The 28-year-old Welshman missed Saturday's 1-0 win over Barnet through injury but is set to return while on-loan midfielder Lawson D'Ath has also been given the green light to feature.

The Reading man has been back in training this week after recovering from a knee problem that he picked up during their 3-0 victory over Yate Town in the first round of the competition. The 19-year-old had to be taken off at half-time and has missed the Robins' last five games.

Fellow Reading loanee Jake Taylor has been cleared to play in the competition but defender Sido Jombati is still ruled out after a hernia operation.

Cheltenham have not beaten Hereford in the last nine meetings between the two clubs, a run that stretches back to February 1999.

Hereford striker Ryan Bowman faces a race against time to be fit.

The 21-year-old, who has scored eight times in just 16 appearances for the Bulls this season, was named player of the round after his heroics against Shrewsbury in the first round but is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Marley Watkins is in a similar position and may miss out on a reunion with the club where he started his career while Michael Townsend is back in training after a back injury and will be monitored.

Marlon Jackson and Chris Carruthers are weeks away from a return to action for a Hereford side who have lost just one of their last nine games in all competitions.
